Not one to sucuumb to trends, Nicholas Ghesquière always paves his own way and delivers a new direction in fashion. This direction is a luxurious, futurist fantasy filled with fancy sporty boots.

I like these boots but can't quite figure out how you put them on.

Dries Van Noten's Spring/ Summer 2009 Collection is the kind of collection all women will look at and say to themselves.... 'I can see myself in that outfit.'

Dries Van Noten has found the harmony between inventive and commercially viable, which is where many of today's designers struggle. The collection is accessible and pragmatic and far from boring. It is simple, elegant and very wearable.

These are my favourite shoes and I will take the outfit too. I love the mix of elegant black and white colours.

"It's about the speed in our lives and how it can only result in a crash," said Chalayan.

And rightly so, as most of his collection had prints, which included number plates, car handles, and fenders, which Chalayan explained were "taken from pictures of car graves."

I say you either love it or you hate it. I quite fancy the shoes more than the clothes as the clothes are the crash. What do you think?

Valli has a lot of fans which include; Victoria Beckham, Natalie Portman, Caroline Sieber and Emma Watson, to name but a few, and you can see why they love his creations.

So gorgeous. I love strappy sandals and these are just fabulous!

These are my favourite shoes. I will take the dress too.

This is the Spring/ Summer 2009 "Marni look" as described by NY Fashion. And in all honesty, Consuela Castiliogni’s creations induce a funky fashion statement. The designs are fun, upbeat, youthful and springy with a lot of exaggerated layers on the clothes.

I like this collection. It is fresh but yet functional.

I love the earthy and fresh exaggerated colours.

This has got to be my favourite shoe. It is funky and I like chunky shoes!

I absolutely love these as well. They can go with pretty much any thing to add a little spring and colour to your style.

Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton shoe collection was a big hit at the Paris Spring 2009 runway show. The was a varied display of leathers, colours, feathers, tassels and round balls and cylinders to accent the shoes. The shoes look too busy but somehow Marc Jacobs manages to pull it together to create a fabulous shoe.

They look a tad hard to walk in and apparently, during the NY Fashion week Spring 2009, the runway models were voted the "Most Likely to Fall" in these Shoes. I absolutely like the gold chain straps on the first pair and my favs are the last ones. The heel does it for me!!!

The blue/ white are my second favourites and can't wait to see these out in the stores!!

This year's most expensive shoe, or boot I should say, can be yours for £9,430 or $14,000. They are alligator skin Manolo Blahniks. They are available at Manolo Blahnik's West 54th Street boutique in New York. (For these prices, I would want the boots to come with the remains of the animal so i could make myself a matching bag!)

The second most expensive shoe or boot of 2008 is the Louis Vuitton Grey Animal Skin Ankle Boots with Buckle, coming in a close second at a retail price of £7,945 or $11,842. (also, if you bought these shoes in July, they would have cost you a mere £5, 923 but today, with all the credit crunch business, you would pay the above price.....ouch!)

Christian Louboutin designs, designed for Philip Lim Spring /Summer 2009 Shoe Collection. I like the sandals. Perfect for summer but am not too crazy about the rosettes and the whole gladiator look is so last summer.

These silver and gold heels look quite nice and the pink snakeskin ones below are okay although they would not be my first choice. Am not being funny but models have really dodgey legs and feet. The legs in the pink shoes look like they have been bruised and are in need of some serious TLC.

I am absolutely loving the silver straps with the braided look and the cherub-esque female form heel which I think is the best detail on these shoes. My absolute favourite is the white shoe above which is unique and reminds me of the Winter 2008 collection. I think that this spring/summer we will see alot of interesting heels out there.

There is a great deal of detail on these shoes which is emphasized on the heels and platforms. The upper part of the shoes is simple and elegant and gives the whole shoe a chic look. I absolutely love the huge, chunky platforms and I can't wait to get a hold of a pair of these.

There was a lot of commotion back stage in Paris, as everyone wanted to congratulate Riccardo Tisci, designer for Givenchy, on his show. This collection has a western feel to it and is absolutely gorgeous.

This collection has studs and animal hide on open toe, strappy heels which just looks faboulous. I also love the gold and metallic tone detail on the shoes which gives them that statement factor.

I love the open toe boots. Very chic and edgy!

Anna Sui's Spring 2009 Shoe Collection has some interesting and not so interesting pieces. You either love it or you hate it really.

I personally like these gold with egyptian style motif boots but I don't think they will be everyone's cup of tea. I also love their simplicity.

Nooooooo! Please, lets get rid of the gladiator sandal. Am so sick of it!

These sandals look so frumpy and if you are not blessed with long model-like legs, they would make legs look stumpy and short.

I actually love these boots. I love the fringe lining and I can so see myself in them with a nice short skirt or shorts.

Ladies, I finally got the chance to try on these beautiful bad azz killer pumps from Christain Louboutin for Rodarte, and I must say one word came to my mind...... FIERCE!!!!!!!! (excuse the fat legs)

They are really beautiful and very, very High with a hefty price tag to match!

(Note to Mr Louboutin: Sir, if by any chance you happen to have a pair in size 7 or 8 UK, lying around your studio, please hook a sister up!!!!!)

Pros: Very sexy, extremely high and will definately get you noticed!!!!

Cons: Might need foot insurance as they are really high (so not for the faint-hearted),

The colour in the pictures and magazines is not exactly the same as that of the real
shoes (in reality, its an off copper-ish, gold-ish colour),

If you have fat legs or ankles, you might struggle with strapping yourself into the shoes
as I did (as seen in the pics above, I have not closed all the straps, but I still look good!)
