If you got a chance to own a pair of Topshop's best selling shoes, the 'Sereno Platform' then you one of us lucky ones. These shoes were designed drawing inspiration from YSL, and thus a stunning result. A pure work of art, the Sereno platform heels tower at 5" and at only £65, they are a must-have for any avid shoe fan.

(4th/01/08): I must have lady luck on my side. I walked into my local Topshop on kensington high street and saw the gold and silver sereno, above, in the sale pile. I picked it up and asked the sales guy to get me a pair in size 8. Two minutes later, he walks towards me with a box and pulls out the shoe in size 8. Iwas so chuffed I threw all the other shoes down and headed for the counter to pay. The sweetest thing about this was that the shoes were now at £30. ha!!!!

The shoes came out in August and sold out in superquick time of hitting the stores. They come in balck and gold or gold and silver.They are extremely hard to get a hold of but if you wear size 6 or less you might just be in luck if you hit your nearest Topshop store NOW! Alternatively, you can try ebay. I myself got a pair from ebay at a ridiculus price (£110) but wearing them at the Christmas party will be priceless:)

Please also note that these shoes are a slightly smaller fit than your average size so get a size bigger than your shoe size for comfort. Good Luck!!

And there was Antonio Berardi....

The spring collection in paris last week produced some really interesting fashion. The designers kept the collections looking chic, young and easy to wear but they went all out on the shoes. There were some really wierd and wonderful shoes ranging from bear claws heels to shark like teeth heels, but the order of the day was Antonio Berardi's high heels with the elongated platform toe with no heel. These shoes made such an impact and the models worked them like heels never existed.

'Foot Soldiers.' - Giambattista Valli Victoria Shoes.

Victoria Beckham is well and truly a dedicated foot soldier. This woman wears high heels 24 hours a day, 365 days a year without fail. This woman is every female shoe designer's 'most wanted' celebrity to front their shoes. She is blessed with gorgeous pins (legs) and a strategically placed man (her hubby David Beckham), she works these Giambattista Valli's 'Victoria Shoe' heels with style and confidence. She absolutely looks great. The shoes don't wear her, she wears the shoes. No wonder every designer wants her to wear their shoes, and why not, after all these shoes are named after her.

Sex on Heels!

'Giambattista Valli' is an Italian fashion designer from Rome, Italy and the man behind 'The Victoria shoe.' One of the most exciting designers around, Valli's 'Victoria Shoe' heel towers at 6 inches high with a super platform and is definately not for the faint hearted.

These babies are absolutely gorgeous and will never go out of fashion. They not only come in pink but also in black, red, white and yellow. Just don't drink and drive with them on. Also I would not recommend using public transport, i.e: running after the bus or tarmac-ing the city looking for sales or bargains; but I would suggest insuring your legs first!
